Mr. Ashis Himali has almost six years of experience in administration and program designing in the community development. As Executive Director in Dakshata his primary responsibilities include: designing, implementation, coordination and evaluation of the overall programs of the organization. Working on the issues of transparency, social justice and cultural integration in Kaski and outskirts,he aims to increase the work scope in other regions.

He has received many international recognitions and awards like 1st runner up for World Summit Youth Award 2010 under the category Fight Poverty, Hunger & Disease. He is Third place winner in International Essay Competition organized by World Bank,2010 and finalist in 2008.He also got the Youth Honorable Mention in International Essay Contest For Young People organized by Goipeace Foundation, Japan in 2008.

He is also the International Research and Exchange Fellow 2011 on the thematic area Tolerance and Conflict resolution funded by US department of States and the Startingbloc fellow of NY’13 series. He is also the alumni of Global Engagement Summit and many other international networks.

Ms. Amrita Gurung is enthusiastic, success driven and honest who has almost four years of experience in development initiatives especially for the women empowerment.
She has conducted more than 187 community workshops related to job creations, integrity, micro-finance and economic empowerment with the poverty and insurgency affected women.
Her previous experiences include leading the accounts department, micro finance and developing
social program modules for organization like United Nepal Multi-purpose Co-operative Society Ltd and Akshara. She also volunteered for youth organizations like Jagriti and Abhiyan working with the youth affected by Maoist insurgency. She also served as a volunteer in three districts of Baglung,Parbat and Kaski for assisting a field survey of human rights and peace by a local NGO, Jagriti. She also has pursued her Master in Business Studies from Tribhuvan University.

Mr. Surya Bahadur B.K. is an enthusiastic and artloving guy. He has been working as the Programm Officer since 2013.

His activities concern on meeting youths and different stakeholders of our projects. He also helps in coordinating different workshops and tranings for our office. He is also really good in painting and artworks which he volunteers for training needy and underprivileged students.
